Today we’ll review a nice and affordable (under 50 EUR!) hotel with full SPA zone in the village of Banya, Bulgaria. Banya, near Bansko, is famous for its hot mineral springs. The hotel is Hotel Aspa Vila and as you can see from their website, they’re proud to be a balneological hotel.
Outside view of the hotel
Aspa Vila is situated on a small hill with nice views to the village. The pine forest is just behind the hotel and you can see the trees outside your terrace. The best thing about the hotel is undoubtedly the outside hot pool. Aspa Vila uses the mineral springs of the village for its water supply, pool and jacuzzi. The big pool is warm and suitable for swimming or relaxation. The jacuzzi is hot. You can use them during summer or winter.
The jacuzzi and pool in the background
If you’d rather relax in your room, most of them have bathtubs which you can fill with the same mineral water. Rooms are clean and spacious with everything necessary. There’s a restaurant onsite as well.
Apart from the hotel, the village has its entertainments as well. You can go horseback riding for 13 EUR per person. Or, you can visit one of the multiple small Bulgarian-style restaurants to try the authentic cuisine.
The village is close to the ski resort Bansko and the ski-tracks. The mountain views are amazing, the air is crisp and clean, the mineral water is hot. What more can you ask for?
